Soap Bubbles

i was reading the "Popular Photography" magazine and a photographer had taken macro pics of soap bubbles.  it inspired me to do the same, but it took me a while to get the setup just right.  this is how i did it you take 2 chairs and put them close togethor (put chairs directly under ceiling light) then place a clear pan filled with water in between the crack of the chairs so that the chairs are holding the pan up about two feet off the ground.  then place a reading lamp under the pan with the light facing up. this way you have a good light source.  then pour dish soap in the water filled pan and stir until big bubbles appear with a straw.  then take the pic.  i used a nikon d-40x with a nikon 70-300mm lens.  put your camera on M or manual and adjust the shutter speed and iso however you want.  finally if you want good pics change the setting to black and white otherwise the bubbles are a nasty yellow.
